Hi Everyone

Dozy makes a grunting-like sound? She sounds like a little piggy. Does anyone elses TAG make funny noises? What does it mean?

Dozy continues to be a big sweetie. I think she likes to be pet and cuddled. If during our snuggle session I stop petting her, she'll nudge her head around my fingers and wedge her head in my hand and just sits there with her head in my hand. I hope that means she wants to be pet. What else could it mean?

Cags and Tags alike make all sort of sounds. They will imitate things they may have only heard once. My Cag makes a sound like a squeaky toy, a kissie sound, a fart (I didn't teach him that one) There learning ability is almost unlimited and may even pick up things they hear on TV.

Yes, nudging is a sign of affection and wanting attention. You are lucky she wants to do that. Sounds like you are on the right track with her and provide great care.

Grandma. Thanks for your response. I notice the grunting/snorting sound when I speak to her.

Bella's starting to grab my cheek with her foot and dragging it over to give me a kiss/preen my 'beak'.

OMG how sweet!!!!!!!! Aren't they just wonderful?? I never dreamed she would be this sweet. She is so great and I am really, really enjoying her. Such great therapy!!!

Gracie is full of weird/funny noises! Recently she's making this bubble noise. I have no idea where she got it!

Ollie hates being touched and he will even take his beak and push my hand away!

He likes attention, but with a look but ya can't touch attitude.

Our Grey Sammy makes grunting noises also, and afew other sounds.
Sammy shares his room with many other different species so he can also sound like a Quaker, Cockatiel, and now he is making Budgie sounds.
Hey 4 birds in one...simply can't go wrong by that...

Yes she is 6 months Nov. 30th. IMO you can't have too many birds as long as you have room for them. They are so wonderful.

Ira, makes these strange noises alot when spoken to and speaks like that aswell.
