Question Manzanita playstands OK for greys?

I saw some beautiful, almost art like, playstands but was wondering if the manzanita wood is too slippery for greys? Any suggestions? Thanks all!

Danielle,
We don't have a grey but all our guys have the manznita playstands that are sandblasted and yes they do look like artwork. I see no problems for a grey as our hahns and ysa have no trouble with them and love them The unblasted ones I could see being slippery though. You just need to get the correct sized one for you grey. Not to big and not to small if that helps ya

Hi Danielle -

Congrats on your new baby...I'm sure you're going out of your mind with excitement waiting for him/her to come home!

I have not only a manzanita wood playstand for my CAG, Tuki, but also 2 manzanita perches in his cage. (I switch out his perches every couple of weeks to keep it interesting and excercise his feet and legs!)

Tuki has never had any problems with manzanita...but I took some sandpaper and "roughed-up" the playstand a bit for better grip!

Ollie has a manzanita perch that she doesn't have any problems with. I've been wanting to get a manzanita gym for her, but now just isn't the right time. I think they're gorgeous!
