This is Sophie on a branch (notice how it's all chewed up?) with Sabu (male senegal and meanest bird in creation):
Here you can see Nina in the right background (you can't see her chest but you can see her legs with no feathers on them).
This is Pookie eating with tiels and lovies
This is Sophie walking on the floor (she loves to ground forage)
Hi Beatriz Cazeneuve. What type of tree is that branch from. My husband was trimming some live oaks and I wanted to use they for Dozy to perch on but I was told that live oaks are poisionous. Thanks
All of my greys have dark beaks, except for my Timneh his is half dark half light,Their eyes lighten up by the time they are close to a year,But the beaks don't always lighten up. I will post my guys and you can see their beaks, can't post till tonight my daughter snagged my camera cord from me last night and I forgot it.
John and I love "Potty Mouth" Mary and Braveheart.
Mary is always good for some laughs and she's come along way with letting people pick her up.
I have a special place in my heart for Braveheart. He's so cute when your leaving and you wave bye to him and he uses his little nubs to wave bye as a fast as he can.
It's amazing to see the birds thrive at Barbs shelter.

Re: The Greys of PC
Here's my Riley. She will turn 2 on Feb. 17. She doesn't talk much yet, but she loves to say "Cookie, Cookie, Cookie" She picked that up from watching Cookie Monster on Sesame St. She also loves to tell us "NO!" My 9 yr. old daughter was trying to get her to go back inside her cage and she wouldn't do it, so my daughter told her in a stern voice "Riley you need to go back inside now!" and Riley replied back just as stearnly "NNNNOOOOO!!!!!" She also loves to tell the other fids in our household to "Be Quite!" and she will call them approp. by name from whoever is making the most noise.
Our grey, Zakiya will be 1 year old on February 28. Hard to imagine! She is the best grey and honestly, I think she is a B&G in a congo suit! LOL. She is very inquisitive and not at all afraid of new situations or objects. She loves to be with us all, including our rottweiler pup, whom I may add, has learned when Z is quiet, she is on the hunt looking for someone to entertain her! She has a great vocabulary for a 10 month old and is always amazing us with new sounds. She loves to hang out on the bathroom mirror when I am getting ready for work. She is a joy to me and I love her more everyday!
Well, I have to put in for Gipper. He has passed away, but he was the best TAG that ever hatched out of an egg. He called me Sweet Girl. Whenever I would come home he would say "Sweet girllllll, There you are!" I miss him terribly.
