Gracie Lou is 10 months old. She loves her mommy more than anyone. But will tolerate being held/scratched by other people. She would eat birdie bread all the time if her mommy would let her. She is just now starting to talk. She can say "hello" "uh oh" and "peek a boo". She also enjoys making crow noises.

Gracie was formally known as "nekkid one'

Hi Grandma,

Libby is beautiful. I have a question about her beak. Did her beak gradually become lighter as she aged? I've noticed that Dozy's is getting lighter. I'd like it to light up like Libby's Do you know at what age the beak stops changing color?

That Birdbird Bread sure looks good. I would love the recipe if you have it.

Thank you.

I'll have a photo of Jazz very soon. One of his cuddling ones. Jazz's beak has really lightened up in the last month and he just turned 8 months. Funny how i see him constantly and then just last week noticed how much it lightened. His eyes are starting to lighten up also.

Dozie's beak looks a lot like Gracie's does (picture above). I do hope her beak lightens up like Libby's. Can't wait to see a Jazz's picture. Thanks!

Wordybirdy, I don't have a lot of personal experience with babies but, for what I have read, the color change can start as early as ten weeks of age but it is very noticeable by the time they are ten months old.
