#3 | | | Re: Grey Update Sammy is just as loveable as ever, he still tells time better than Rose and I, when its time for him to be having either supper or a late night snack he begins his holler "hey its time for be to be out with you ...come and get me".....He has a very pathetic little whine he does.....
Athena is just as mischevious as ever, one must keep an eye on her when she is out and about, she will head for any bird she can, she constently reminds us, "I wanna be the only bird in this house".
Both our Greys are healthy and demand kisses, Sammy is the best button remover there is, most of my shirts have no buttons...
Both our babies know how to work us and they work us often.
Today is a major cleaning day for me and my Rose will change the toys, best to keep these 2 buzy doing something otherwise they will surely get into trouble... for asking Camille, I will tell our Greys that you were concerned about them....and....yes ....I will give them each a kiss from you... |

Minerva (Timmie) has been home for a little over 2 weeks. I think it's only two weeks, I dunno, I've lost myself to feeling like she's always been here. She's awesome and I'm having a great time! We still go thru a bit of a baby phase where she feels warm mashies should be spoonfed but after a beakful or two, she chows down indepentently. She's not talking but new whistles and squeaks and mumbles are coming out...so maybe someday. Honestly, I don't care if she talks, it would be cool, but there's so much more to her that makes me exstatically happy.
She's working on picking a middle name....right now Minerva Obnoxious is topping her list....into everything, nosey rosey, lands on my head, you name it! LOL |

Ollie said her first word (Hello) about a week before her first birthday. She had been mumbling a lot, and I had thought I'd heard it a few times, but it wasn't until right before her birthday that I knew for certain what I was hearing.
Everything she says starts out nearly unrecognizable. It takes a few days before she perfects everything. Example: About a week ago she started making a really strange sound that was similar to a sneeze. I was so confused about what it was, because I knew it wasn't actually a sneeze, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what she could be trying to say. A few days went by and finally she made the sound as she did one of her tricks: "ShakeShake!" is the cue word for it. Apparently I say ShakeShake in a really funny, high pitched way that sounds sort of like a sneeze. I'm gonna have to get it on video, because I know how hard that sound is to imagine, ! Anyways, now she's enunciating it a lot better!
Eventually Ollie will start turning those sounds into words you can understand! |
