Default Grey Update

Can we have an update on everybody's greys please??

Ollie is doing great. She is now 28.5 months old. She loves her momma, but other than that hates all women. I have nightmares about her daddy (my bf) edging me out for her affection. There is a great possibility of that happening I think. She's a very sweet girl, and loves to cuddle especially after I get out of the shower, and at night when she's sleepy. She says so many things now it's hard to keep track. Her latest: "Shake Shake!", "(Such an) Awful good girl" (the awful is new), and "shower". She has a toe fetish, and loves to run as fast as she can along the back of the couch.

Libby is the family brat. She is definitely my husband Dans baby. She was always clipped until she came to live with us six years ago. She has never tried to fly...don't
think she knows she could. When she is let out of her cage, she walks from room to room and loves to play with toys laying on the floor.
I have had Boca now for just a little over a year, gosh it seams like forever. Boca is my sweaty. When he is out, he is my shadow. I have lost track of Boca's vocabulary at 64 words. Both are great talker. Libby can whistle Beethoven's 5th. Boca, Jesus Christ Super Star. Many others as well. They get along but, not as well as I would like them to.

Sammy is just as loveable as ever, he still tells time better than Rose and I, when its time for him to be having either supper or a late night snack he begins his holler "hey its time for be to be out with you ...come and get me".....He has a very pathetic little whine he does.....
Athena is just as mischevious as ever, one must keep an eye on her when she is out and about, she will head for any bird she can, she constently reminds us, "I wanna be the only bird in this house".
Both our Greys are healthy and demand kisses, Sammy is the best button remover there is, most of my shirts have no buttons...
Both our babies know how to work us and they work us often.
Today is a major cleaning day for me and my Rose will change the toys, best to keep these 2 buzy doing something otherwise they will surely get into trouble...
for asking Camille, I will tell our Greys that you were concerned about them....and....yes ....I will give them each a kiss from you...

I'm so glad you asked! lol

Minerva (Timmie) has been home for a little over 2 weeks. I think it's only two weeks, I dunno, I've lost myself to feeling like she's always been here. She's awesome and I'm having a great time! We still go thru a bit of a baby phase where she feels warm mashies should be spoonfed but after a beakful or two, she chows down indepentently. She's not talking but new whistles and squeaks and mumbles are coming out...so maybe someday. Honestly, I don't care if she talks, it would be cool, but there's so much more to her that makes me exstatically happy.

She's working on picking a middle name....right now Minerva Obnoxious is topping her list....into everything, nosey rosey, lands on my head, you name it! LOL

Ollie is almost 9 months old now and constantly makes kissing noises along with smaking noises like if you had peanut butter stuck to the roof of your mouth. He wistles the words "you who" and makes squashing noises, all sounds that I make around him. He has said "good boy" on one occasion. He prefers to mimic my sounds over talking though. He does make made up words that do not make any sense to me sometimes.

Anotherr thing he likes to do is to grab my whiskers and YANK them out one by one. I make sure I am clean shaven before he gets to perch on my sholder. OUCH!

Gizmo is not my grey, he is my sisters birdie and comes here for babysitting. He is about 18months - 2 I think, he is talking a bit, barking, making puppy noises, coughing, sneezing, blowing his nose, and singing along to the piano. He mostly makes up his own tunes or it could be a few different kiddie tv tunes that he varies. Luckily he has not learnt sun speak yet. He only likes girls and any man should be seen off the property. He loves my sister a great deal and will go searching the house for her.

LOL! That's funny!

Ollie said her first word (Hello) about a week before her first birthday. She had been mumbling a lot, and I had thought I'd heard it a few times, but it wasn't until right before her birthday that I knew for certain what I was hearing.

Everything she says starts out nearly unrecognizable. It takes a few days before she perfects everything. Example: About a week ago she started making a really strange sound that was similar to a sneeze. I was so confused about what it was, because I knew it wasn't actually a sneeze, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out what she could be trying to say. A few days went by and finally she made the sound as she did one of her tricks: "ShakeShake!" is the cue word for it. Apparently I say ShakeShake in a really funny, high pitched way that sounds sort of like a sneeze. I'm gonna have to get it on video, because I know how hard that sound is to imagine, ! Anyways, now she's enunciating it a lot better!

Eventually Ollie will start turning those sounds into words you can understand!

How adorable! Ollie doesn't really seem to care for music at all. The only time she even acknowledges it is when my phone rings with a song ringtone. She does whistle a few different tunes that we've taught her.
