Getting a baby TAG :):):)

Hi Everyone,

I just put a deposit down on a baby TAG yesterday.

It will be a couple of months before I bring him home.

I am like a kid in a candy store, so excited.

I will be cage shopping soon at Bird Paradise, and of course toys galore.

Just thought I would share the exciting news with all of you.

Hope all of your Fid's are doing well and behaving.

Hey congrats on your new baby! I'm getting a baby TAG the at the end of May. I've been waiting since early October on the little guy! If you need suggestions on thing to keep you busy just ask! Cuz I have a ton of them!!

Congrats Karol! I too am waiting for my baby CAG. He's just 3 weeks old now so I have a long wait! How old is yours? Male or female? What made you want a tag? Do you have any other birds? Have you thought of a name yet? Congrats again!

My baby has not been DNA sexed yet so I do not know.

I wanted a male but really does not make a difference.

I do not have a name picked out yet, I like Harley but I am also looking at Celtic names since I am Irish.................guess my baby is too.

I will probably bring him home sometime in June, this is a guess on my part.

I am just so excited.

I have a Tiel, Buddy and a CAG, Sedrick who was re-homed to us.

I thought a TAG would be nice to have and they are a little better socialized with more people where CAG's tend to really bond with one person.

My next visit to see my baby I'm taking a feather sample and sending them into a company to get "Nekkid One" sexed.

Wow, it is only $24.50 not bad at all.

I did want a boy but the more I thought about it.........it does not matter to me.

I get first pick when they come in so I will let the bird choose me, be it boy or girl.

They will eventually let me know what it is once it is DNA sexed but either or is ok.

ooooh! A little fuzzy baby with dark grey eyes. Looking up at you peeping and honking for food! They are so warm when they cuddle under your chin and steel your heart. And then after each visit you have to put them down and leave the store wondering if they will miss you at night! The next few months will be so hard waiting! Oh, but well worth it, when you have it home and it finally says "I love you!" Dont forget Karol, one of the first few things you teach it should be "Auntie Leigh!" Cant wait to see it!!!
