Scarlett said her first words the other day! We have been playing "toss the birdie" everyday and she loves it! Well the other night I was standing about 3 feet from her cage and she flew to it, had a smooth landing and said "Good Girl". I was so proud! Evan (my husband) swears she says "pretty bird" too, but I have never heard her.

What were your AG's first words?

That's great Tiffany!! I love it when they talk. I bet Scarlett has the sweetest little baby voice too!!

I don't know what Tully very first words were, but the first words that he said after he was here for a month were, "What?", "Moooom!" and "GRIFFIN!!" which is my five year old's name and yes, I yell it waaaaay too much! Both Tully and Willis will start yelling "Griffin" after I do. Griffin will then cover his ears and yell, "WHAT?!!" Poor kid.

He has a new little phrase too which will give you some insights into the chaos of my home..he says, clear as a bell..."Alright...who pooped?"

LOL, they pick up the weirdest stuff! And her voice is very cute, it was high pitched and shaky sounding. Most of the time she makes noise it is very grumbly sounding.

I think I hear Pepper say "hello" but that is about all. She knows how to screach - does that count? Both whistle and it sounds great!

That's so exciting! Once they start....you can't stop them! Ollie's first word was "Hello", followed by "Peek-a-boo".

I think they kind of mumble and grumble when they are practicing new stuff. At least that's what Tully does. He mumbles to himself and every now and again you'll hear a clear word then within the week he'll say the whole sentence. So maybe Scarlett is working on some new material for ya!

Ooh I hope you are right! I just loved hearing her talk! She is such a smarty pants, I can already tell! I miss her, I can't wait to see her today!

Oh and other people have now heard her say "Pretty Bird", so I guess she Evan was telling the truth! I think she might be a good talker, she is so young still.

Bella's first word was 'hi'....and this was before she was two months old...

She's got a few standards, Hi, Helllloooo, cookie, watcha doin?, oooooooow, wooooow, wooo, eeeeew, good girl, waaaaa, go poop, and she's had these weird one time phrases. Step up, up, up, Talk to your mom'ma, Watcha'doin cookie, Hi, what'cha doin birdie?, dad's home!

I wonder if the one time only things will make a return. The talk to your mom'ma threw me for a bit of a loop. She tried her hardest to do Homer Simpson's Woo Hoo and it ended up as woo woo instead. She also recently spouted out wake up!

That's so exciting!!! Once they start, they REALLY START! You'll see...
