somewhere between 5am and 7ish when it gets light. My guys sleep in the room next to me, so I can hear what goes on. At 5am when Geo gets up for work, he closes the bedroom door, so I can sleep in peace, and when the birds start singing in the AM it doesnt wake me.
Well, this morning when I uncovered Emma, she had lost 5 red tail feathers, 3 large wing feathers and has a large owie on her face. She lost all the tail feathers in the middle. I tried to check them but she was not having anything to do with that.
She must have been spooked by either the snow plows trying to scrape up the ice on the roads or a spookie ookie spider.

(thats what we call em here) It wasnt her typical falling off her perch type injury.
She is singing and playing now, and was happy with her breakfast, so she is ok, but beat up.....my poor girl!
On the upside,.....she was so noisey and playing Stirling was telling her "Emma, Quiet"
Stirling has never said her name before.
