Yes, I have had my african grey Yogi for almost 17 yrs now and he calls me "Mom", "Momma", Mommy", and my name "Deb", He usually calls mom first and if he doesn't get an answer he will say my name and then hello?. It's really cute to hear. Sorry your grey doesn't call you by name, does he call you mommy or anything like that?

My Mr Buddy call all the fids and "daaaaaaad!" He just started with "moooom!" He even call himself! "Mr Buddy! Mr Buddy, hes' a good good boyyyyyyy!"
