Matt has come so far with Ollie in the past 15 months, especially considering that it's only been in the last 7 of those months that he's seen her more than 2, maybe 3, times a month. He can do her morning and night time routines (although he swears that she visibly sighs when it's him that uncovers her in the morning instead of mommy), which is a major relief to know that Ollie's life doesn't just depend on me! Actually, he can do just about anything with her that I can, except with a little more grumbling on Ollie's end.

He is so good with her, and although she is sometimes a little more wary around him than me, it's obvious she loves him. Over half of the things she says are things she has picked up from Matt. These pictures were taken when they saw each other for the first time since I moved into my new apartment. It had been about 2 days since she'd seen him, and with the entire change of environment, she was so happy to see a 'constant' in her life.

She's such a sweet girl, and you can see how happy she was to see him. How does she like the new apartment?

Fine so far. She's still a tad bit quieter than usual, especially when I'm not in the same room as her. If I leave a room and she's out of her cage she makes her alarmed "Mom! Where are you? Come back! You forgot me!" noises and then often comes to find me, which is fine. She is very happy though, so I'm sure all will be fine!
