Default Is this boy Handsome or what?

I snapped this pic of my Mr Buddy by looking out at the wild birds in the yard. The light caught him in such a way, I fell in love all over again....

He's my pal!

What a difference when those chest feathers come in. Its like a coat of armor! Gosh...I just cant explain how much I love him.

Would you please post a before and after? Ollie doesn't pluck (cross fingers knock on wood) but I know that if she did, seeing pictures of birds who have "recovered" would really be a great inspiration. I know there are several people on here (besides me!) who may like to see a naked Buddy next to a fully feathered one!

Well, he was never naked! He just had 2 long strips down his chest that were all downy. And he clipped his right shoulder really short. I guess it was from nerves, getting lost and being outside and stuff. I was just so scared it was gonna turn into a full blown problem. Some days he would let it start to grow in. Then other days would be worse than when I first took him. All of the sudden he just let it all grow back! I have a few befores, but I need a full chest current. Will post soon!!

Great, thanks Leigh! Was he doing this before you got him? Have you been able to pin point what was causing it? How long has he been fully feathered? You can just address all those annoying questions when you post the pictures so you don't have to do it more than once!
