Well, around here one "beak click" is a warning. More than one and you've definitely overstepped your bounds and had better back off. It doesn't happen often but enough to learn what it means.

Tongue clicking is a love song here and an invitation for scritches and loves and a "I wanna hang out with you". The tongue click is a much softer sound than the beak click which sounds like a branch or twig being snapped in half.

The only grey I have that clicks her beak is a Timneh who is quite territorial and not very friendly.

Mr Buddy does a click with an eye pin but doesnt follow through with a bite. He just drops his head. John says its the sound his finger will make when Mr Buddy breaks it! lol!!

Jazz does this when he's not too happy about something and i know i'm bound to get bit! He grits down so hard i'm afraid he is going to chip his beak.
I hear this alot when he has my toes in mind!
