No prob Karen. You are very welcome. It is important to really understand things in attempting a diet like this. Always remember your pet depends on you to ensure it remains healthy. You really have to be careful to make sure all dietary needs are met when feeding this way. That being said....IMO animals find it more palatable, and it does result in better overall health. I noticed almost immediate improvements in Tiny's energy levels, mood, regularity, smell, etc....when we changed her over to it a year ago.

That's a good point too about processing the veggies for the fids Karen. Maybe they would benefit from the cell wall being broken down...it's very important in the canine world. Hmmm...food for thought. Things change constantly in the world of birds...

Oh my goodness Kris....I am TOTALLY feeling you!

Last week Milou started to tear a lot and then his eye got puffy...well he had a blocked tear duct....there's $100 for that vet appointment and 2 meds.

Then this past weekend I am giving Milou his like tenth back rub of the day (yes, I give my pup doggie massages!) and I feel a lump near his spine. There's another $200 for that vet appointment and biopsy.

Thank God for credit cards...but I had JUST payed off all my debt...now it's back to $500! Better than before, though

*hugs* At least we can feel good about taking wonderful care of our little babies

What kind of doggie is Tiny? Tell him I totally feel for him as far as allergies go...I've got horrid allergies as well! Give him scritches from auntie Missi
