Default Darwins summer house

I spent today digging up dirt and making a summer house for darwin.. he has the run of a little triangle of garden and a whole flower bed that will have no flowers for the summer once the weather gets warmer

bare in mind tortoise friendly plants will be sown in it so its not gonna be like this forever and im sinking a shallow container in for water as well as a few hiding places and when im not around outside garden netting over the top just incase a neighbours cat might take a liking to him

let me know what you guys think.. any ideas for it? im think of putting a few rocks and bits of wood in it just to climb around on it.. also we sunk wire a foot below the ground because darwins spieces are known as great diggers

Just look at that smile! That is one happy turtle! We think he will really love his own place. He has such a beautiful shell!
