I've been reptile crazy lately!

Couple weeks ago I purchased a teenie baby Spiny Softshell turtle: Baby Scooter -- Spiny Softshell Turtle - a photoset on Flickr

Now I've got another 20 gallon aquarium lying around empty and I plan to gather up some wild Tropical House Geckos ( an intorduced species to FL -- pic: Flickr Photo Download: Tropical House Gecko ) and raise them so I can get more experience on keeping Gecks as I plan on getting a few Day Geckos sometime in the near future.

I'm going to put a bit of sand substrate down, then the coconut reptile bedding, then some moss, slate rock for them to climb on, a couple live plants, and of course the heat/UVA/UVB lamps...anything else I need?

Interesting, are those in the leather back family?

Oh yea the bug had bit you indeed. Reptiles are like birds lol once you start getting them you want more and more. LOL We have two green iguanas and would like a bearded dragon, rhino iguana and a blue iguana. I also love veiled chamelons. They are just the cutest things. ~Jenna

When we build our monster aviary we want to add some bird friendly type reptiles. Some type of newt , salamander, or little lizard. A few turtles, and some type of little tree frog. I love that stuff. But nothing with teeth!
