Default Cats

Here are a couple of pictures of our cats, just chilling on Saturday in the yard.

Picture #

1. Roxy ~ she is a rescue. I found her when hurricane Charlie was due to hit that day, 4 years ago. She is sporting she "just cut" Lion cut...her hair is about 3" long (no kidding).
2. Keiko ~ he came with my hubby.
3. Suki ~ she is my very old girl...she is 15 yrs old (probably 16). She is a "save" from going to the Pound..that is where she was headed.
4. Lizi ~ she is also a rescue. I found her in the middle of a vacant field in a box....she was about 1 week old & 8 ozs. I took her home and nursed her back to health.

The only cat that I don't have a picture of is Mia. She is a Russian Blue that was given to me by my neighbors when they were moving. She was on her way to the Pound too.

Wonderful group - I almost fell off my chair when I saw Roxy! The black head told me it was a black cat but the body reminded me of my old sweetheart - a grey shorthair tuxedo cat. At least she looks comfy.

Thanks so much for opening your home to those lovely cats. When my last cat passed away I was so heartbroken I couldn't go there again - maybe again one day as I adore cats, but not now, as we have the Budgies free-flighted in our small apt.

Calico's live a very long time. At least 18 years. They are good hearty cats. 4 of the ones I grew up with lived very long!

I finally got a couple of pictures of Mia. She is my Russian Blue. She sleeps with me all night long.....she is a total Mama's girl.

It's taken me awhile to open this thread because my heart is still broken over my Boston. But I'm glad I've looked at your sweethearts - they are all beautiful. Cherish those special moments with them.
