Default Anyone watch Oprah?

Did anyone watch Oprah today? I had no idea that her beloved Sophie passed away last month. They did a tribute to her that made me cry. The rest of the show was on puppy mills. I cried the entire hour and Afa kissed my tears away. I cant help but worry about the amount of birds out there in the same situation. A very sad topic. The message at the end, if you are looking for a pet, go to a shelter first. Only we can make a difference by cutting the demand.

I didn't watch today. I had not heard about Sophie either. I know she was crazy about that dog. Poor Oprah!

I'm not into her day-time show but have joined her Book Club & am following the A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle & the 10 week discussion. So far I'm really impressed. She mentioned her dog passed away, on the last show, & said the dog passed when she was working on the 1st Web show for the book. The book really helped her get thru it all.

Please don't cry - but I do know how this is - I get caught up in this stuff too. It really hurts.

I watched a really great documentary on Aging Parents, on PBS this week. I cried thru most of it - but there was some grace there too & wise words were said. Funny thing is I wasn't really aware of the tears until I had to get a kleenex.
