Default Quack, Quack!!

Here is my son, Eric, feeding the ducks. We give them a loaf of wheat bread each day. They are so fat they can't fly! ha! Notice the bad chihuahua??

Is the chi brave enough to get close to a duck?

Not really Angie. She believes and acts as if she is a pit bull but at heart she is more like a pure bred chicken! ha!

When I was dating my husband we took his son to a waterfowl sanctuary near my parent's. At one point he came running past us yelling. We looked around & there was a large group of mixed ducks & geese running at us. We just stood there and they stopped - I may have tried to calm them. Sean emerged from behind a tree & denied having anything to do with the situation [which we disbelieved]. Years later he confessed to throwing stones at them. They almost got him & they certainly scared him. I do think he learned something that day.

That is a very interesting photo.

By the way ducks like meat. They love canned food - my pet mallard would steal from my dog.

Our extremely brave min pins know what the yellow bird can do, the good thing is that all birdies are now left alone, best plan is now to run a hide when a birdie goes walk about.
