I've been busy trying to photo document all of the birds that visit my feeders and bath every day. I've finally got a few decent pics to share - and bear with me as I'm still learning about the features on my camera (such as ZOOM lol).
I adore this little guy, this is one of the
Chickadees that visit daily:
I just want to put him in my pocket and pinch those chubby cheeks!
I have a
pair of mourning doves that are always around, they are so lovely in flight. This is one of the pair, and I haven't been able to get a decent photo of the two of them together yet. But where one is the other is not ever far behind.
Here is my
pair of Gold Finches taking a drink from my bird bath, they stop to drink daily. Sorry about the distance on this one, this was before I learned how powerful my zoom can be:
Here is just the female Gold Finch:
The
Sparrows love to pick through the mulch, they are there every morning and evening picking away, so tiny and cute:
Ok, now I know this is Lulu and she's no wild local bird - but look behind her on the seed wreath. It's hard to tell, but I think that's my Tufted Titmouse feeding behind Lulu (I love her skinny crest-up reaction!):
We also have a
pair of Cardinals that visits daily but I have yet to get decent pics of them. Here is a not so great pic of the male:
Stay tuned for pics and video of my dear
Downy Woodpecker!
