I love hummingbirds! They are fun to watch. I wish we had more.... about 3 hanging around now.

Great picture, you do nice work! You'd go nuts here, we've got about a dozen hummers zipping around all day.

How do you get so many around your place?? I've got flowers and feeders and still will only have about 3-4.

How is Oliver doing?

Hey Camille!! My little sweetie pie turned 5 years old yesterday. We're teaching him some birthday stuff now. I need to catch up on your videos. Been a really busy summer.

I use 2 cups water and 2 cups of sugar. they said not to half the mixture as it was tooo strong.. but find that it brings the hummingbirds around more.... they interact,,,,,they fight for territory...... noze bomb ya..... etc....lots of fun to watch.....

Jill, that is a wonderful piece of photography. I commend you. Hummingbirds really are great treasures. When I lived near San Francisco, I had a number in my back yard and it is amazing how they are pretty much unafraid of humans. They would sit on a branch and just have a ball looking at me and the dog. You could actually have a conversation with them.
