Im a tad jealous as well. The nly birds that come to my window are cardinals , rose breasted grossbeak and yellow finches. On a few occasions I get Blue Jays.

can i come visit too? can i move in? i'll only bring a few things - Stinkefuss + cage + playgym, Bella + cage + playgym, BF + ?? (presents?!), a few socks and my computer?

seriously, tara - i actually really might come and visit, since my advisor is going to sebatical to australia and seems like we HAVE to come....

Calvinsmom,that's what happens to a schifflera when it grows in the ground in a semi-tropical to tropical environment. They will also grow that large in a greenhouse given a large enough pot or direct access to the earth. They get HUGE and they will tolerate frost very well but not for long. The L.A. parrots hang out in them and in palms all around the city.

What do they look like in the States? You mean they don't get that big?

we are dedicating our 10 yr anniversary to go to the land of downunder. btw,that is 5 yrs away. i would love to able to ride the man from snowy river trail.
