Re: Do you feed wild birds in the summer We feed year round also, I love it tho when it gets warm. We have tons of birds out in the yards, grackles, starligs, red-winged blackbirds, purple martins, doves, sparrows, cardinals, bluebirds (wish they'd nest in OUR yard tho!), wrens, hummingbirds, orioles, cedar waxwings, several types of woodpeckers, that's all I can think of right now. There's been others but they aren't seen often enough! Once the hummingbirds show up, we've got about 14 feeders outside going. It's not easy keeping them filled all the time but it's worth it to see the diversity of birds that show up! |
