Default Any ideas what this is?

Sorry for the poor quality pics. Does anyone have an idea what this bird is? I have never seen it before in my area.

It's red/orange breasted, but smaller than a Robin. It has a horn colored bill. The body color is a dark brown or black. It was eating off the ground but was eating the left over parrot food that had fallen to the ground.

From looking at the pictures it is hard to tell.
I will do some searching and reply later with my findings.

I have been searching to try to find out what it was. I'm thinking a male Baltimore Oriole. What do you think?

I was going to give the same exact suggestion

Know what the sad thing is? I live about 20 minutes away from baltimore and have only seen a wild baltimore oriole (it was actually a pair) once, and that was this past summer.

I had never seen this type of bird before. That's why when I saw it out my window it really intrigued me. It was very pretty!

That's the problem! I didn't recognize it, cause the one I saw must have lost his hat!

Well, it's definitely a Baltimore Oriole. I saw the hen out there with him tonight. Now that I know what I'm looking at I spotted her right away. They are really pretty!
