I find the quickest way to get what you want in your area is to place an AD yourself.

You could post thru a pet store, bird club or on Kijiji or Craig's list or your local rags - some have free ads once in a while or just post a small one.

You'd be surprised lots have stuff they are wanting to get rid of but are not interested it selling until they find out they can. They just keep it in their garage or basement.

Thanks, I did post a message on one of the boards. I will continue to look and I am emailing some other bird friends that I know in hopes of the word getting around and someone has one or two.

It's even hard around here. Lots of small or ugly cages - not so many I'd want to buy. So I can imagine it can be worse in some areas.

If I hear of anything near you I'll PM you.

Yes, it is very hard. We only have a few importers here but I just don't have the money to buy brand new, even though I would love to. I have a very hard time trusting too cause last year I gave out 1500 dollars to someone who took my money and ran. I never got any cages. Still trying to find a way to fight that one.
