Be very leery sending money upfront to anyone you don't know or anyone whose reputation cannot be vouched for by someone you trust.
If you can't have someone you personally know go over and buy the bird cash on the spot, after first-hand assessing it's health or meeting the seller at an A.V. vet office for a check-up (for those of you that are willing to accept the health risks to any bird in a vet office), then IMO best to pass. You could be purchasing a sick bird, stolen bird, etc.....and don't forget all the scams going on out there too.


Try asking the owner to ship the bird to you first and then you will send the money - AFTER the bird checks out. I am pretty sure he/she will not do that, so why should you send the cash first. Same thing basically.

I think you can do COD, which is safe for everyone.

I would suggest that the buyer does not pay a stranger - until after the quarantine period is at least over (45 days approx.).

I don't know anyone that would do that. People aren't trusting.

IF an Administrator delete this that would be great! This turned out to be a SCAM!!!
