Smile South Jersey Bird Club
I know I haven't posted much (well, at all... ) I am trying to get better at remembering to read boards AND post.. but we have been insane here. We have had SO many birds needing help, it gets hard to remember to sit at the computer for fun stuff...


ANYWAY.. I was asked today to speak at the South Jersey Bird Club. Don't know if anyone here is a member or not... But I think it is for May or June.. I have to check.. I will let you know. I am bringing 4 or 5 birds with us...

I haven't spoken at a club in a LONG time.. I miss it.

anyway, thought I would let you know.. .

Wow, they have a site up! I haven't checked in quite some time.

I am in the Cherry Hill area...close to Warwick road and Magnolia...where are you located?

We are on Long Island right now... It is about 120 miles for us. I use to stay over when I spoke there, but since the passing of both my parents, we don't have someone to overnight care for everyone, so my sister will stay with the guys while my other sister drives me (I am off driving cause of a bad knee)..... I think we will be bringing 6 or 7 of the birds... I can't wait. I really love sharing our birds with people, the birds love it and I think so do the club members...

Have you been to their meetings?

Greetings.. I just spoke with the Bird Club- we are scheduled for June 2nd, the first Monday. I will be bringing 4 or 5 birds and speaking on special needs birds as well as adoptions...

It would be great to meet some people from here !!!

We usually stay overnight when we go to bird clubs that far away, but we can't do that anymore, so we will head right back home....

My sister wants to have lunch before at a place called Rutt's Huts Hot Dogs in Clifton.. we saw it on the food channel and she was thrilled that we kindasorta go near there on the way to the club....

thank you Ruby.. that is very nice of you to say. Once we are moved upstate, I will resume speaking around the country... I use to do that several times a year and really enjoyed sharing the birds and our experience with people. Hey, you never know- maybe there is a bird club near you I can go to...
