Its that time of year again, the great get together here in the land of 10,000 Lakes, Rose and I will be volunteering Tanks & Pickles this year for the Minnesota Companion Birds Association, I will be the nut with the camera, so...hopefully I will get some good snap shots of the action.
Those bigger birds draw much attention but folks sure are leary of them, our little Quakers get there share of attentions and many many questions.
When I hear "oh I want one", I make sure I tell everyone its a lifetime commitment.

Well, my mate is off to the State Fair with Pickles.
I couldn't go this time due to I have to get some rest for work tonite.
But, we go again next Sunday, and I get to tag along this time, with Tucker.
My wife and her Quakers.....such a sight to see...
My wifes world....Tanks, Tucker, Pickles...and deep within her heart is Chance.

Well, this years MCBA didn't go over so good.
My Rose vounteered for 2 sittings, It was agreed that the club would provide state fair passes and this didn't happen.
Rose went to meet the person giving out passes and sat there for 3 hrs and finally came home kinda set back...guess I should say MAD...
Soooooo, no pictures...to share....
But this year we were able to go and enjoy the fair....
I can't believe all the strange things they put on a stick to eat...and wall to wall people.....hard to enjoy everything....and we came home very tired...
