Wish I was! Unfortunately, I heard this is the last Norcross show. The new owner needs to be convinced otherwise! I hope this is a big success this weekend and tons of people show up and buy stuff for their fids!!

Find a man named Charles Tillman and his wife, Leta, should be at the entry desk. Tell them you really want them to continue these shows and see if you can get some other people to tell them also. It is only 10 mins from my daughter's house and would be very convenient for me also! I just can't make this one!

She must be grounded for spending so much at the show.

We did go and is was a LOT of fun! I didn't see the Tillman's at the entry desk, but I did tell the volunteers there that I really enjoy these shows. They said they've been getting that from a lot of people, but don't know what the plans for the future are. It really upsets me that they are aiming to get the shows more in FL and get them out of GA (quote of several of the breeders present).

But, on a better note, LOTS of toys! Lots of pretty babies! I was IN LOVE with a male ekkie there. OMG, I thought I was going to steal him he was so precious! Still on 2 handfeedings a day, but hey, that was okay with me! My mother didn't like that idea so much! A beautiful BTM I was also in love with. And there was a breeder who bred (or has a sibling that breeds ?) Vasas! I took their bussiness card, just for future reference

Oh my gosh YES! There were SO MANY (well, for a bird show ) people! But within an hour or so it calmed down. A lot of people looking for their first bird for their kids (apparently, if a teenager can handle it, anyone can!) Which of course led me into explaining to them about proper bird care and such...I also gave out a ton of PC cards so *hopefully* some people will come join!

OK, you must have spoken with someone that got the message because I got this email today:

Gini- We produce the Exotic Bird Fair in Norcross, GA and would like to
know if you participate in bird fairs and pet expos? Please let us know
if you would like to receive information. Our next show is July 12-13,
and then October 18-19, December 6-7.

So I think the North Atlanta Trade Center is going to start putting on their own events! Anyway, I got all the info and will try to register for all three shows! Start saving your pennies, lol!
