Default Pulling at me

Pi'ere is a devil When I go into his avairy he is straight at me. Like pulling my ponytail, into everything I do, can't even put fresh fruit in there and he is in my face. He has had a little go at me but not hurt, a warning peck.
Is this just him settling in? What do I do about his pecking? Ignore it or make him learn that it is not ok?

Can you teach him an alternate behavior? Such as go to a specific perch, when asked. Then he can be eating his reward treat as you service the aviary. This method has worked well for me.

Another that I have tried and it's also worked well, is to play with them with a toy and/or carry on a interactive conversation with them when I first go into to their cage. This seems to calm the waters and I am not viewed as the intruder who just rushed into their space.

I feel he has settled into the avairy well. He likes the space and freedom and yes he looks upon me as an intruder. When he was in the small play cage he was more reserved. Now he is showing some strength of character.
I don't want him to think he can boss me around, mainly because I need to go into his avairy to supply fresh food and water and clean it out.

I will try to distract him tomorrow with a treat, he likes the peanuts. Today when he tried to have a go at me I pushed back at his beak and then ignored him. Yesterday I was bent over with a new branch and had my hands full, he came up behind me on a high branch(perch supplied for him) and grabbed me by my ponytail.
