Pickles won't poop on us either and she's a Parrotlet, so it's not only the bigger birds, little birds are just as smart and can be well trained.

This subject is almost as touchy as wing clipping.
The wife trains all our birds, As with all training, one must know what there are doing.
Sammy our male TAG was being potty trained, then we noticed he was holding in his movement until the wife came home from work and held him over the waist basket...(not good)...
Sammy honestly thought he couldn't go poop unless he was over that basket.
That training ended right there.
I can understand potty training if we are talking about a large bird that is trained to free perch (no Cage).
Otherwise...one could easily kill there bird.
