Default Perspective on Parrot Behavior

Here's an interesting link I found on LafeberCares.com. In my opinion, a very well written perspective on natural parrot behavior vs human expectations, and how in many instances they just don't mesh. I wish this could be required reading for any prospective parrot owner!

Nate, I just came to this forum to post that. I agree, very good information and it should be mandatory reading.

I have not left that site since Lara posted the link earlier today. There are some really great articles there.

I attended a lecture a year or so ago by Liz Wilson, the author of the article you posted, Nate. I enjoyed it immensely as she is very down to earth and uses humor to make her points.

I agree, the article you posted should be read by anyone considering adopting a parrot. Heck, it should be read by all of us who already have them!
