Default Spent the day stripping

Bark off a dried branch.
Yup, finally going to build a play stand.
It's about five feet tall with several branches. I'll take pics when I get further.

LOL....I thought it was because of the heat...

Can't wait to see the play stand when you're done.

Sounds good, but why strip the bark, there are a lot of unemployed birdies that would love the job.

I have been letting it dry out for three months now.
I have sprayed it with bleach four times and pressure washed it twice.
I stripped away some of the bark because the bleach kind of curled it. No big bark though. Now I have to get a piece of PVC for the trunk to fit into and cut a piece of wood for the base and put wheels on it.

It must be in the air - I too have a Budgie sized natural gym project in the works. As soon as they've finished eating the Mulberry leaves & the wood dries a bit.

I look forward to the photos - can you try to get them in progress? - if that is of any help to others?
