I just needed something basic and lightweight that would be easy to cart around. I just played around on paper with a design for a basic T-stand. It was very simple to make. I only use it when we're traveling, so it just stays in the trunk of my car. It really is the most practical thing I've made!

what did you use for wrapping for the big hanging ball gym?

That is cotton rope from the boating section in Walmart. If you'd like more info on the hoopball there is a great DIY article in The Workshop forum! Those are the instructions that I followed.

Wow! Those are great! I have been wanting to make a hoopball (or two) for the fids... they sound like a lot of fun for them!
