Post NEON brand cage advice, look at these pix please..

Anyone know anything about this cage?? I haven't seen it in person, but it looks great from pix. It's a "NEON" brand. Can't find much about it online. Asking is only $120.00. no top tray, they say all the welds are intact, there are two worn areas, but other than that, they say the paint is in really good condition.
I like it a lot, can't really go wrong for $120.00. IT's 34" wide, 24 " deep, and 51" tall, then the playarea makes it 67" tall. That door is HUGE. I love the play area with two ladders, the perches and I particularily like the big swing on the inside. Bar spacing is around 1".

But, I don't know much about these bigger cages.
What I DON"T like is no seed catchers on the side, but Baby maybe a neater eater than Cecil. and top tray is missing. Reckon where I could get another one??
Thanks for the input!
Mark

Mark, if it were me, I would pass on that cage. It's showing quite a bit of wear and rust.

Just a word of caution about buying older cages. The knowledge we have gained over the years about what's safe and what's not has changed so much. Many of the older cages were not manufactured to the standards we expect today.

A bird I rescued a year ago had many medical problems. The last problem we pulled her through was that she tested very high for zinc. It took 3 treatments to bring her zinc levels within the acceptable range. I did a little research and found out the old cage she had been housed was the culprit for the zinc. I came in contact with another bird owner who had similar problems and owned the same exact cage. She sent a scraping from the cage to be tested and the results came back as being at a toxic level for zinc.

So be careful if you're thinking about purchasing an older cage.
