Default King's Cages 506

I am looking into purchasing a King's 506 cage. On the website it says, "Built in seed catcher."

I'm hoping someone has one of these. Can the seed catcher be removed?

Its removable but it screws in to the inside of the cage. Its a nice feature and works well.

That would be nice to see a pic of these seed catchers and how they assemble! Thanks Leigh.

I just want to be sure I can take them off. These cages will just be used for sleeping in their small sleep room. They only have a little snack in their cages, so I'm not overly worried about mess.

Thank you very much for the photos Leigh! Are you pleased with the color? I was given these choice of colors; Black/Silver, Grey, Copper, White & Almond. I have Hunter Green right now and have no idea what color to choose.

Karen
We have a black & silver 506 for Angel. I love it but it is really heavy. We have never used the seed cathchers on her cage.
You could even go with the 406 for your kids. We have Ru, Hedgy and Maxie all in their own 406s. I really love them.
We have oscar in a 306 and have rascal and Gizmo in 136.
All are the black & silver. I love the finish. It holds up really good.

Good luck.

I agree, the black/silver is nice. It cleans easy but also makes the cage more attractive as furniture. It doesnt stand out like a sore thumb at all and we get lots of compliments on the nice finish. I doubt you'll be disappointed if you get it, I recommend it.
