I know there are a few Hyacinth owners here, and I was wondering if you could tell me about the housing you have for your birds. I am currently looking at getting a stainless steel cage from Freedom Cages. Any recommendations or help of any kind would be much appreciated. I know no matter what, my cage will be an investment so I want to make sure it is the right choice.
Any other Hyacinth tips or pointers would also be greatly appreciated. It's very difficult to find good, reliable information on Hyacinths.
Thank you so much for your time
Emily | Hi, and welcome!!! I STRONGLY suggest a Freedom Cage. I know the owner very well if you need any help. They are fabulous! they also stand behind their cages, where some manufacturers will not stand behind a cage for a hyacinth. Congratulations on your baby! |

He was a very pleasant person to talk to, he got me even more excited! I forgot to ask him today, do you know if the feeding bowl covers are Hy proof? I know they are under warranty for breakage, but are the locks "pickable" by curious beaks? Freedom has by far impressed me the most with what they offer in the way of products and guarantee.
Thank you for the congrats, too!! You all will hear all about him/her as soon as we meet I can already tell I am going to fit in just fine here!

Emily | The feeding system is fabulous. Mark will tell you the truth as to whether or not they are hyacinth proof. He is very honorable. Let him know Kathie from Bird Paradise said to take good care of you! |
