Yikes! hehe. LOL. I guess I forget where I post my updates. Apparently, I posted it on a different board. Anyway, he is doing really well. He came home yesterday evening. Everything went perfectly smoothly. I am just kinda letting him relax and get used to his surroundings for a bit. We have a vet appointment today just to ensure everything is ok with him. He's very sweet and cuddly. He hasn't made any noises yet but I am sure that will change very soon. Oh one last thing....he's absolutely gorgeous! His coloration is beautiful, IMO. Right now, as I type this he is sitting on a perch that I put on top of his cage (outside of the cage) and listening to Curious George on t.v. hehe. LOL, I know what you're saying. I now know the theme songs to several cartoons! Glad to read Yoshi is settling in nicely!

No not yet!!!! I feel awful for Yoshi that it hasn't arrived yet. The cage I have now is an ok cage but definitely not a permanent cage for a macaw. I have so many toys for Yoshi already but can't hang them in his cage (only a few will fit) because there isn't enough room. Fortunately, I work from home so he is out of his cage most of the time.

I was told the cage was delayed and was promised that I will have it by October 15. Only 6 weeks after I ordered it

I must not be having good luck with ordering stuff because I also ordered a bottle brush gym the same day that I ordered the cage and that is delayed too. Who knows when I'll get that! I was told that due to all the rain he hasn't been able to go cut down tree branches to build my gym. It has already been 5 weeks!

I just want my new cage and play gym

He was actually really nice. He called about 2 weeks ago and apologized for the delay and seemed very sincere. I know what I am going to get is a great cage, so I don't mind the wait. I think Yoshi will appreciate it too since he has gotten used to his smaller cage. If Mark is correct, then I should have it a week from tomorrow.
