Default Cage Question

I'm looking for links to some good quality SS cages with the food bowls that are outside of the cage. King's Cages doesn't have any with bowls outside the cage that I can find. Neither does Avian Adventures. I thought I saw some in an ad in the latest Birdtalk magazine...but of course I've misplaced it.

Freedom Cages have the bowls outside but the birds can still get to them from inside the cage. Is that what you mean? They are at Welcome to FreedomCage.com!. I am going with them for my Hyacinth cage

EXACTLY what I mean! Thanks so much! I just think that would be so much more practical! It would give you tons more cage space for perches and toys because you don't have to worry about not putting them where poop will land in bowls. Plus, Ollie won't sit on perches below the food dishes. I'm thinking with bowls like that I could utilize more of the bottom of the cage.

Oh awesome! Yeah, I totally agree about the cage space! Those bowl covers are Hy proof too, so no one is getting out their cage through them! It's an ingenious design

Wow! Those are pricey!! Have you seen cages with bowls like that anywhere else? Even if they're not SS, just powder coated? I won't be able to afford a cage like that for several years! I'd like to get a new one for Ollie within the next year.

Here's the one I want! Blue Throat Bed & Breakfast. I'm afraid to ask how much it costs...

Camilla... Not sure exactly what "brushed stainless" is but if not the best quality "surgical-grade" stainless steel , I probably would not buy it myself - rather I would just go with the powder-coated but heck, what do I know?

Camille - I know the owner of Freedom personally. His cages are top quality (a bit expensive but well worth it). If you need my help, I'm here for you. He's a great guy and a VERY honest businessman.

Those cages do look very nice, and I particularly like the feeder dish's. I wish someone her locally carried them so I could inspect them up close. I have seen some of the other Stainless Steel cages offered by other companies and they left allot to be desired.

Lance - I can vouch for them - absolutely fabulous and they guarantee them. Some companies will not guarantee their cages - especially against hyacinths. The feeder is really cool - it is patented so they are the only cage with these feeders. Check them out. Freedom Buffet™

Kathie- do you know of any other cages with exterior bowls - even if they're not that same design as the Freedom Buffet? I know I've seen some...just can't remember where...

I really want a SS cage. Maybe by the time I am able to afford it (plus, I don't want to still be in school and moving around a lot), King's will be making exterior feeder bowls...
