Exclamation Avian Adventures SS Hacienda Cage, Should I?

does anyone have any experience with avian adventures cages? especially the hacienda model.

Stainless Steel Hacienda Dometop Bird Cage By Avian Adventures

someone currently has a SS version of this on craigslist for $1200! it's 48x34x60 rather than the 48x36x66 from freedom. but it's $2200 less. i don't want a crummy cage though.

do you think this would be worth it?

hm, AA doesn't seem to offer much in the way of a warranty though. and i don't really like the bowls being on the inside of the cage. ah, i think i just keep hoping that i won't have to shell out $3400

I think Avian Adventures is a good brand, but the quality of the stainless steel and attention to detail certainly won't be up to what Freedom offers. $2,200.00 better? That I don't know.

i ended up passing on it. i'd rather spend the extra $$ and get a cage i KNOW is high quality with a GOOD warranty. also, the feeding system. i just have to pay down my CC a LITTLE bit more

alas, i've spoken to a few hy owners whose birds have snapped off bars on an SS 506 model. at least i know with freedom, they guarantee their cages against hys. and will replace if the bird snaps through.

well, they are the only SS cage that i haven't heard any complaints about (aside from the price!). they are the best i have found and the owner is super nice and will chat with you on the phone.

this is the model i am looking at Wekiwa it has a $3500 price tag, but can't be matched in quality and warranty! i also LOVE the feeding system!

Yes Emily, after having our SS 506 less than 6 month our Shadow snapped of a bar and he was only hanging from it not chewing it.
