You know your into parrots if:

You talk parrot.

When your talking on the phone you reply with a "caw" or "oh boy!" like one of your birds, and in their voice instead of yours.

You taste test bird food.....and family members jump in.

Oh, I'll think of more...

If you go to the petstore to buy bird food and spend an hour with your face to a bird cage speaking to the birds within, while the staff look at you like your a weirdo Happened to me yesterday!!
