I just finished a new painting. I've been in a landscape rut [at least my husband calls it a rut - you should see the lack of enthusiasm when I start a new landscape!] for quite a while. So the other day i thought i'd just be playful & see what happens.

I must have been inspired by all the blue feathers everywhere - molting season.
So here it is - Parrot Feathers '07

Thanks guys - I'm not that good at taking photos of my paintings - there are 2 or 3 reds in there & i can tell you they don't look so dull in real life. It is more of a jewel tone piece than it appears. It's 18x24.

I did this landscape around the same time - it's a bit different from the usual too. 14 x18

Now this one is my speed!!! Not that the 1st abstract isnt nice, I just LOVE trees!!! Very nice!!!

i like all of them, but i LOVE the first one that would look absolutely fabulous in my apartment (i'm more of an abstract type of girl )
