The picture that Jac drew for me has been framed for a few weeks and it was finally hung last week! It hangs in our front hallway off the living room, and it's the first real piece of Parrot artwork that's showcased - and I think he looks fabulous up there!

Artists love to spread their art everywhere. It looks so much better framed. As an artist you don't always get to frame everything but when you do it always looks more like 'art' - even the ones no one was taking seriously.

Wonder what it would be like to do a Macaw???? - send me a photo you love & I'll experiment - nothing ventured, nothing gained. No charge for 1st time efforts. Guess Bee didn't see the one i did of Valo - or she didn't enjoy her portrait in the shadows ... so not everyone will like the results, every time!

I really tried to get Jerry to pose next to his picture, but last night he was really rambunctious and couldn't understand why I wanted him to go all the way over there - so he kept flying away to his gyms. But eventually I hope to get him next to the portrait!

I love Greys - but all those lovely scalloped feathers are worse than a Budgie's markings!!!!!

My class has an Art Show coming up this winter [Jan/Feb/March] - mostly for my students & my work be featured as well - i could add some bird art - but you guys would have to wait until the show is over to get them....
