I went to an art fair today and just couldn't resist this guy.........

It's a black & white photo on canvas and as soon as I saw him I was hooked - I just loooooove owls. The photog's title for him is "Menacing Owl." I need a frame for him, will probably get a silver frame. I think I'll hang him in the dining room - the fids don't spend any time in there, but they do pass it on the way to the kitchen if they're doing laps....hopefully he doesn't scare the poop out of them

I like the pic the way it is without frame. Put it on a board so it stand out away from the wall. Paint the edges of the board black. That would look sooo sharp.

Love 'em both! LOL, its hard to say about the owl photo. Either they won't notice at all, or else there will be total panic!

Both are magnificent! I agree - I would put the owl on a fancy easel and display it that way.

Sarah, I love them both. What art fair did you go to?

I have a photo sitting on my desk that I took of a Saw Whet Owl last year. It's just a 4x6 photo. The birds are very cautious and very scared of it. When I have one of them with me when I sit at the computer I have to turn it around.
