I have one of Wayne's gyms and can attest to the fact that they are very well built and "chewable". I agree that he is a very interesting one to talk to -- he had me on the phone for well over half an hour when I called him back over a year ago when I ordered mine. I got a macaw-sized one for Cooper and it has held up well.

I don't know how widely available bottlebrush is in the States, but my birds just love the fresh branches from my backyard. It's very chewable and keeps them busy for hours! This plant is preferred by birds in the wild so I would say it's an excellent choice to make a playgym out of.
