Default Vanodine question

Okay, this is a little strange...I use vanodine to clean Merlins cage every day with a paper towel. We got these new paper towels and when I pour the vanodine on the towel it turns the towel purple. Is it still safe? It's normal color in the bottle.

Thanks for your help!

I also use Vanodine to clean and it has never turned my paper towels purple. What kind of paper towels are you using? Maybe there's a chemical on them that's interacting with the Vanodine.

They're lint free Marcal. I had the same chemical reaction thought.

I just cleaned a toy in my kitchen sink. It too turned it purple... Tho it wiped right off with water running on it.
I never had this before with Vanodine. I ordered it from the same place you did. Karen how long ago did you get yours? maybe its something they just added?

Maybe 8 weeks ago?? I just mixed a new bottle on Sunday and I always spill some into the sink when I do it, no purple here.

I diluted it like you told me, with the ivory soap too. It's the normal color after I diluted it but when I poured it on the towel it turned the towel purple.
Could it be bleach that makes it turn purple??? I had another brand paper towel and it was okay, it's just the Marcal towels so far.

Very strange I tell ya!!!
