I'm hooked on these products!
I have used the AVIx Soother Ointment. It's an excellent product to have on hand for a scratch or an abrasion. I am currently using it because of its transdermal effect and am mixing it with a prescription drug to alleviate swelling. I also use the AVIx Soother Spray especially during a molt. It cuts down on the itchies. The AVIx Bird Rain restores moisture to feathers and skin and it's keeping the feathers from looking dried out from the winter air with the furnace running. I talked to my AV about the AVIx Sunshine Factor, and she said that's Red Palm Oil. I already buy that in a bigger bottle, so I haven't tried the AVIx brand.

These products are fabulous and, from what I have heard, various avian vets are also prescribing them as part of their treatment. I understand the Booster is supposed to be great for birds who are ill or are recovering from illness. I use the Sunshine Factor once a week for my birds.

Anyone else have experience with these products? If so, I'd love to see what your results were.

Karen-

I havent tried the body builder (my fids are all eat BP's Ultimate Blend-a pelleted diet) But I have used their "Rain" & "Soother" sprays. My G.W Macaw Countess (wildcaught) was starting to scratch at this spot on her head alot more during her molt about two months ago and I remembered I had bought a bottle of both (so I could look them up and learn more) So I sprayed her head twice a day and the itching stopped. No plucking thank god...But a really neat product and I love the packaging : )
