Default Parrotnutz

I just started ordering from this place - I use to make birdie bread for Ro but work has become so time demanding I'm glad to have found someone who will do it for me and to my standards with respect to ingredients - she is also great about special orders (adding or omitting ingredients). Most importantly, Ro loves them. So far we have tried orange & green powerhouse muffins, bannana-nut and cantaloup all of which have been modified to meet Ro's special requirements & taste.

Ahem, there is another vendor of healthy, mostly organic treats that is a member of this board also. You might want to check out the quality, prices and recommendations of BIRDIEBREAD™Cones and Muffins-Homemade and Avian Approved for the FIDS of Indulgent Parronts!

If you would like a copy of the BIRDIEBREAD™ February e-Newsletter, featuring the Valentine's Special for Red Hot Lovers and Stud Muffins, just PM you email address and I will send it as a pdf attachment.

Thanks for your consideration

Lori, I checked out that site today, everything looks great! Have you ordered the ParrotNutz Parrot Treats? They look like crunchy cookies. If they're hard and crunchy, I know my Kita would love them.

Hi Karen,

I haven't tried the treats yet - I started ordering the muffins because she customizes the ingredients for me _ I've also tried the Italian Garden Mash Instant Meal (also customized the ingredients for Ro's finicky taste buds) - so even if they are not crunchy I bet she would make them crunchy! If you go to the website and click on contact us you can send her an e-mail and ask her. I can say everything I've received from there is of the highest quality - and she offers a wide variety of different flavors and textures which works out well for me because Ro needs (read as demands) the variety yet is very picky about certain falvors and spices. If you try the treats let me know what Kita thinks!

Thanks Lori, I sent her an email today to special order for Kita. I'll let you know what Miss Fussy thinks about her personalized crunchies when they arrive.

Thanks once again Lori for posting about Parrotnutz. I got my order yesterday. I was very impressed with everything about the order. She also sent some samples along of a few different types of muffins! The treats look great and will be healthy. I really liked that she included an ingredient list of what was in my order. Being that she uses 3 green veggies, 3 orange veggies and different fruits depending on season availability. I will definitely be ordering again!

I don't know if you guys are members of the Avian Advantage buyers group - but if you are - Parrotnutz gives you a 10% discount on all orders if you email them to her with your member #!

Stephanie, I'm not familiar with the Avian Advantage buyers group. What is it?
