How to construct a perch on a college student wage? this threads probably been done before. I've looked at stands all over but I'm not sure with what wood to go with. I can design, I just want to be able to construct a play stand about 5-6 feet tall to fit within a 24" square space. Perhaps hangable or something so I can take it down. I've seen ONE hanging one...but it's gotta have a catch pan under it because the upstairs of my new home isn't mine but they said I can hang a playstand up there for him so he gets some extra light during the day. Does anyone know of some templates/wood/ropes I should be using? We're going to Loews or homedepot on friday to buy shelving, buy a 30 by 2 by 5 foot sheet to screw some legs onto to build a desk for the place I'm in, I AM SOOOO POSTING PICTURES of my first pad. It's, well I can't do anything about the ugly tile int he basement, but they said I can rip the walls down, paint it to match my bed.... it's not like a hippy pad or what ever but it's beautiful thus far. Also, if no one can think of a pattern to suggest is there ANY large treelike plants I can use that are close to about that size that are bird safe for me to put him in? If I can't get him a playstand, a nice big plant with toys I can hide in the leaves would be great too. Thanks guys! (Btw I'm trying to budget so be gentile!) |
