of Karen's 5 Grain Cookie Recipe is in the oven cooking!! Being as simply following instructions rarely ever happens wen I'm doing the cooking, I added a few things and used honey instead of molasses. The original recipe is........
4 cups Uncooked 5 Grain Cereal Mix
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 cup chopped Walnuts
1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
½ tsp. Nutmeg
½ tsp. Baking Soda (Aluminum Free)
1 Egg
½ tsp. Vanilla
½ cup Dark Molasses
1 cup Applesauce
1 cup pure Pumpkin
2 TBS. Red Palm Oil
this time instead of walnuts I used pecans, pine nuts and almonds. I also add a little more then a cup of a mix of millet, quinoa and buck wheat. First batch will be ready in about 7 minutes!! I almost forgot, I added about half of a small bag of Twin Beaks Herb Salad.
