Fun Snack And Approved by Several Species

I don't know if this is new to anyone but here goes. I thought i would try something different this morning for breakfast. Small little ice cream cones with peanut butter and then fill them with seed mix and top off with peanut butter again to seal everything in nicely. Well it was a hit by white cap pionus, green wing macaw, umbrella cockatoo and double yellow head amazon. So good luck to all, yours should hopefully enjoy this treat also, lol

Wow....great idea. Where did you find the little cones? I haven't see any that small before. Those are perfect.

What a great idea! I have tried filling ice cream cones with fruit and stuff, but that did't work well. It all just fell out and only the cone was eaten. I'll have to try this. They love tearing into those cones!

By accident wanted the normal size cones and this is what i got. Heb Pantry is where i bought them.

Would they be ok with little birds like Buddy? If not its still an awesome idea for later(hopeing) when we get another bird.~Jenna

What a cute idea! We'll have to try that, except we'll have to use a bit less peanut butter, gotta watch those waist lines ya know, LOL!

Judy don't use a lot of peanut butter i put just a thin layer on top of the seed just to seal it in place
